My Story
My name is Bianca, and I'm a Montreal-based UX Designer, teacher, outreach lead and wearer of many hats!
With over 10+ years of experience in special education and community teaching, I have developed a passion for creating inclusive and accessible learning environments that cater to diverse learners.
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.FA) in Art Education from Concordia University, a Masters of Education M.Ed in Educational Psychology from McGill University, and a UX Certificate from Concordia.
My background has equipped me with valuable skills that translate well to the UX field, including empathy, research methods, critical thinking, adaptability, and relationship-building. I'm particularly interested in advocating for users and designing with their needs and perspectives in mind.
In my spare time, I enjoy pursuing my hobbies of photography, painting, improv, and gaming. I have been active in the online esports and gaming community, where I help moderate and organize events for Galorants, a community of 20,000+ marginalized gamers. Through this work, I've been able to foster connections and create opportunities for marginalized gamers in the esports field.
